About Me
Jenny Casson is a two-time Olympian, lightweight world record holder, entrepreneur, and leadership coach. Born in Kingston, Ontario, she discovered rowing after a running injury ended her track career, quickly rising to represent Canada for nearly a decade. She competed at the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games, five World Championships, and multiple World Cups, while setting world records on the 2k and 6k ergometer.
Following Paris 2024, Jenny co-founded Daylilie Apparel Inc., a company reimagining everyday bras for women with broad shoulders, designed to deliver strength, comfort, and confidence without compromise. She also launched her professional path with Phoenix Executive, where she brings Olympic-tested resilience and focus into human-centered consulting and leadership coaching for organizations and executives.
In her consulting work, Jenny partners with teams, senior leaders, and women’s executive groups to develop strategies for thriving in male-dominated fields and bridging generational divides. Having spent the past decade navigating intergenerational dynamics herself, working with coaches, executives, and peers from across every age and background, she offers practical tactics that help leaders communicate effectively with younger generations, while also empowering younger professionals to engage confidently with senior leadership. Her unique perspective as a young Olympian-turned-coach allows her to guide organizations in fostering collaboration across genders and generations, ensuring they bring out the best in everyone.
Jenny’s value lies in her ability to translate the discipline, resilience, and mindset of elite sport into practical strategies that create lasting impact. She works with senior executives to refine leadership approaches, with women’s groups to navigate and excel in any industry, and with multi-generational teams to build trust, clarity, and stronger communication. By blending her own experiences with proven tactics, she helps organizations unlock performance while cultivating purpose-driven cultures.
Beyond consulting and entrepreneurship, Jenny continues to channel her competitive spirit into triathlon, pursuing long-course racing while building a career rooted in equity, innovation, and impact. She is also deeply committed to giving back, serving as a champion with EcoAthletes, collaborating with Generation Safe on safe sport education, and mentoring youth athletes to ensure the next generation can succeed with fewer barriers.
At the core of everything she does, Jenny is driven by one mission: to help individuals, teams, and communities connect to their “why” and thrive where passion meets purpose.
